A business phone system in Qatar today means IP telephony: extensions over your network, an IVR menu that answers professionally, call recording, and reporting that shows what actually happens to incoming calls. Haya supplies, installs and supports IP-PBX systems across Doha — and connects them to your ERP so a ringing phone shows who is calling.

On-premise or cloud

An on-premise PBX sits in your comms room. You own it outright, calls between extensions never leave the building, and it keeps working if your internet does not. It costs more up front and somebody has to maintain the hardware.

A cloud PBX is a monthly subscription with nothing to maintain, which suits multiple small branches or a team that works remotely. It depends entirely on your internet connection, so we check that honestly before recommending it — a cloud phone system on an unreliable line is worse than the analogue one it replaced.

What a properly configured system gives you

Most businesses use perhaps a fifth of what their phone system can do, because nobody configured the rest.

  • A bilingual IVR menu that routes callers instead of ringing one overloaded desk
  • Ring groups and escalation, so an unanswered call moves on rather than dying
  • Call recording for training and for settling disputes about what was agreed
  • Reports on missed calls, wait times and busiest hours — usually a surprise the first time
  • Voicemail delivered to email, so messages are not trapped on a handset
  • Extensions that work from a mobile app when staff are out of the office

Connected to your ERP

The genuinely useful integration is the simplest: an incoming call shows the customer record before anyone picks up, and click-to-dial from within the system removes misdialling entirely.

Because we implement the ERP as well as the phone system, this is configuration rather than a project. It is also the feature staff notice most, which matters — a phone system nobody likes gets worked around.
